JUDGING CRITERIA
The judging criteria for MISS WORLD CANADA falls into line with that at the international finals. All contestants compete in three preliminary competitions:

· Personal Interview
· Swimsuit
· Evening Wear

Interview
Our distinguished group of judges conducts a panel interview with each individual contestant. During the session, the contestants will be asked to display their commitment to charitable causes and to MISS WORLD CANADA title. The remainder of the interview will be an opportunity for the judges to find out more about the delegates' personality, opinions, and knowledge of Canada and the World.

A major function of MISS WORLD CANADA will be to handle media interviews, press conferences and other public speaking engagements. This segment of the contest tests if a contestant is ready to handle the public and the media.

Swimwear
In this event, the judging panel will be asked to look for a healthy body, muscle tone, symmetry of form, posture and other traits that reflect a healthy lifestyle. It is always handled tastefully with the contestant wearing a swimsuit of her choice.

Evening Wear
The winner of MISS WORLD CANADA should be able to have heads turn when she walks into a room. The Evening Gown competition will be the evaluation of that quality which many call the "X" factor: something that is unsaid that makes that young woman unique and special. Posture, grace, elegance, carriage and a positive first impression will be the main focus of this event.

All national finalists will compete in these three competitions, and our panel of judges will rate each delegate individually in each event. The scores will then be tallied by an independent auditor. During the finals of MISS WORLD CANADA, the votes of the judges from the preliminary competition will be made public, and the finalists will be announced, one of whom will be named MISS WORLD CANADA.

If you have any questions about the judging process, please e-mail us at info@missworldcanada.com!
